Celebrities such as Katy Perry, Lionel Richie, and Nick Cave flocked to Westminster Abbey to witness the King's coronation, while David and Victoria Beckham and magician Dynamo were also anticipated.

World leaders, celebrities, UK politicians, foreign monarchs, everyday heroes, and the royal family were among the 2,300 visitors invited to Westminster Abbey.



Stephen Fry, an actor and comedian, was among the first renowned faces to appear at the abbey, arriving bright and early.


Katy Perry, who will play at the coronation performance at Windsor Castle on Sunday, was one of the first US celebs to arrive, dressed in head-to-toe purple.

US Vice President Joe Biden did not attend, with the White House maintaining that his absence was a snub following his four-day trip to Ireland last month.

Melanie Brown, the Spice Girl, was also seen outside the abbey conversing with the reporters.

The guest list reportedly included David and Victoria Beckham, Stella McCartney, Rowan Atkinson, Bear Grylls, and magician Dynamo.
